Dietitian

Diana is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with a Bachelor of Science from Monash University and a Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics from Deakin University. Diana has been working as a dietitian for nearly 30 years and has experience in managing a variety of health conditions. She has also been in private practice for over 10 years. 

Diana’s special interests are diabetes including diabetes prevention, insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, fatty liver and intermittent fasting 

Diana can also assist with the following: 

· Weight management – overweight, underweight 

· Weight loss medications, including injections 

· Weight loss surgery (pre and post) 

· Diabetes injections and nutrition advice 

· Malnutrition 

· PCOS 

· high cholesterol, high triglycerides 

· Gut problems such as irritable bowel, inflammatory bowel disease, constipation and diarrhoea 

· Osteoporosis and prevention of osteoporosis 

· Vegetarian and vegan eating 

· Pregnancy nutrition 

· Malnutrition 

· Food intolerances such as wheat intolerance, fructose intolerance 

· Kidney disease 

· Loss of appetite, nausea, reflux 

Please note, Diana is only seeing adult clients. 

Diana takes a practical and realistic approach to nutrition. Food is not just about nutrients and calories. We eat for pleasure, taste, social occasions and many of us have traditions around food. Diana will work with people on realistic and achievable personal health goals. It is not a one-size-fits-all approach and there are no quick fixes either. Advice is individually tailored and we will work towards long term improved health through small and gradual changes. 

Referrals can be made through self-referrals, GPs, Allied Health, or other Medical Specialists. Fees apply. Rebates are available through Medicare with a relevant chronic disease management care plan referral from your GP (conditions apply). Private health insurance rebates are also available.
