Wendy is a humanistic, person-centred Psychologist who works within a strength-based framework, tailoring her approach to the specific needs of each client. 

Wendy believes that everyone has a right to be heard, respected, and understood. Using a warm, gentle and patient manner, she aims to create a safe and welcoming environment where you will feel comfortable to share your story. She will work with you to make sense of your experiences and develop an individually-tailored approach to support your healing and empower you to take steps towards the life you want.   

Therapeutic approaches 
Wendy is trained in several evidence-based approaches, including Interpersonal Process, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).  

Experience and areas of interest 
Wendy has experience working with adults and adolescents from diverse backgrounds in a variety of settings including community health services, private practice, universities and secondary schools. She works with people aged 16 years and above who are living with the impacts of all sorts of problems and challenges affecting their mental health and well-being including: anxiety, depression, stress, grief and loss, trauma, emotion dysregulation, carers’ issues, life transitions, relationship issues, work related issues, identity issues, adjustment issues, low self-esteem, and sleep difficulties.
